Description

Mackenzie was sent to Bolivia at the request of the Bolivian government to make recommendations for the reorganisation of the country's health services. In order to do so, MDM conducted a survey over a nine month period, focusing on diseases in the tropics of the Amazon, including malaria and dysentery.

Includes personal accounts, correspondence and reports.
