Lists and inventories

This series of lists and inventories relate to Mr Port's management of materials in the the HMM stores where they were sent after accessioning. The lists to a large extent replicate information given in the accession and purchase registers, but do illustrate which materials were not selected for display. Th majority of the lists are compiled according to the name of the donor or vendor, for example 'Lewis-Abbott collection', but some lists are for very small groups or single items. There is also a group of lists of Saint's mostly foreign purchases
