Description
Carbon copies of letters from Penrose to various people, consisting of a letter to E A Cockayne in which he states his belief that Ichthyosis hystrix is passed on through an autosomal dominant gene; a letter to Reverand Hood enquiring about records relating to the Lambert family in the Moulton Parish Registers; a letter to publishers W B Saunders & Co. requesting permission to use an image in Diseases of the Skin by G C Andrews, 4th edition, 1954; and a letter to Herbert Kalbfleisch about the use of the term "Kakerlaken" in reference to sufferers of Ichthyosis hystrix, enclosing an extract from Tilesius in which it occurs.
