Original letters from John Vane and Gwyn Macfarlane, dated 2 May 2001 and 15 September 1985 respectively, regarding the invention of the platelet aggregometer and related matters. The Vane letter is referred to in The Guardian obituary correction mentioned above and in note 12 of the published Witness Seminar volume.
A transcript of the conference, "Cellual Adhesion Applied to Thrombosis and Haemostasis", which took place at Le Mas d'Artigny, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France on 19-21 October 1990. Born was the Chairman for the final day.
