Mounted selection of bone needles and other tools, 15000 B.C. -11000 B.C. The items were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as part of the Schleicher Collection of French prehistoric archaeology and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R1797/1937). They were given to the British Museum in 1966.
