No.3 transferred to the Library from the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1964 as part of the French Collection of books and manuscripts, whose earlier provenance is not recorded (acc.311223); attached is a note stating (in French) that it is the gift of Professor Henri Fredericq but it is not known whether he presented it to the Wellcome Museum or to some other person or body whence it was later acquired by the Museum.
