Description

Fugitive pieces: in three volumes. Vol. I. Controversial tracts. II. Controversial essays. III. Miscellaneous essays. A remarkable collection which includes printed pamphlets by, or relating to Lettsom, and newspaper cuttings: together with holograph MSS, and notes, many of which related to Quacks and Quackery. The collection was made by Lettsom himself, and his book-plate and Library numbers (2654-2656) are found in each volume. All items are by Lettsom unless otherwise stated: printed items are marked*.
