Description
Three vials of preparations of quinine acetate, quinine and quinine hydrochloride extracted from cinchona bark made by Pierre-Joseph Pelletier and Joseph Caventou, alongside two smaller bottles. All five bottles were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The three quinine preparations were accessioned in 1939 (accession numbers R1227/1939, R1226/1939 and R1232/1939) and are now held by the Science Museum (object number A182556, A182555 and A182561).
