Description
Jurin was tutor to Cary in 1708-9; his pupil later became Bishop of Clonfert (1731); of Cloyne; and of Killala (1735). Letters 1-8 provide details of the treatment and advice received by Cary's wife, suffering from a breast lump. The remainder contain discussions of Greek literature.
