Papers relating to the British Association for the Advancement of Science (BA) meeting in Durham, 2-9 September 1970. BSSRS held a 'teach-in' event entitled 'Science is Not Neutral' at the meeting on 9 September, in protest at what they considered the BA meeting's failure to adequately fulfil its aims of reflecting the impact of science and technology on society. Includes statements, press releases, press cuttings, articles, a series of 'broadsides', and leaflets.
