Description

Two enema syringes with bulbs of natural rubber made in South America and imported to Europe at the end of 18th or beginning of the 19th century. The syringes were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1950 (accession number R93/1950 and R94/1950). They are not held by Wellcome Collection
