About this work

Includes sections of draft paper by Smith on 'Problems encountered in the culture of material derived from spontaneous human abortions...' and Ferguson-Smith's comments thereon.

Smith was a South African colleague who had worked in Glasgow before returning to work in South Africa (Pretoria) in 1966. She subsequently worked at University College London and then McGill University, Canada.
