Description

Programme for The Orestian Trilogy of Aeschylus performed by members of Cambridge University at the New Theatre, Cambridge, 2nd-9th March 1921. Old finding aids for this collection attribute the design of the programme to L S Penrose. His brothers Alec and Roland Penrose were also involved in costume and scenery design. Roland Penrose appeared as a guard in the chorus, and Alec was on the orchestra committee.
