Description
Letters from Lowe to Galton regarding the possibility of establishing an experimental farm, and his own research.
Lowe discusses his own work and publication history; recommends Galton contact the breeder Richard Stratton, and a Dr Harrison; describes incidents of cross breeding and inheritance amongst cattle; discusses the experimental farm of Charles Bathhurst; and proposes establishing an exhibition of plants and animals at the Clifton Zoological Gardens in order to raise funds for biological experimentation.
Enclosed are a note from Stratton offering to help the Evolutionary Committee, and an offprint of a letter on telegony Lowe had published in the British Medical Journal.
