Elston Grey-Turner's career was as follows:- 1942 qualified in medicine 1942-1945 regimental Medical Officer to the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards 1948 joined the British Medical Association as an Assistant Secretary 1960 Under-Secretary BMA 1964 Deputy Secretary BMA 1976-1979 Secretary 1982 Vice-President BMA Joint author of the second volume (1932-1981) of the official history of the BMA Further details can be found in the obituaries in the British Medical Journal and the Lancet.
