About this work
Description
Written by two different writers, but without name or date. The handwriting suggests the second half of the sixteenth century.
On folio 1, the name WILKINSON (Perhaps John Wilkinson, of Burnsall, Yorks. Born 1644; M.D., Leiden, 1662; studied at Cambridge and Edinburgh.) is written at the top, but this is certainly a latter addition, and represents a later possessor of the book.
There is a very elaborately ornament title on folio 1, "De Medicamentoru Compositione."
The work is a composite one, compiled from several different sources, each section terminating with the word "Finis."
