Professor Harper interviewed Dr Fraser at the Galton Laboratory, University College London, in February 2005 as part of his programme of oral history interviews with leading figures in medical and human genetics. Fraser subsequently revised his contribution for the purposes of the archival record, retaining the original questions of Harper but adding to and clarifying his original answers. The autobiographical supplement (PP/GRF/A.5B), prepared for this catalogue, extends the information given to his years in Oxford after 1984.
