Description

Replica of a set of Etruscan upper teeth dentures said to have been carved from a single tooth of an ox, bound with a metal band and fitted in a replica human skull. The original dates from c.1000 B.C. The replica was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
