Letter to Galton from Charles Darwin originally forwarding the letter from Henry Faulds dated 16 February 1880 and his enclosed form, see GALTON/3/2/1/22-23. Darwin thought there could be some merit to Faulds' ideas, and stated that he was becoming more interested in Galton's visualisation investigations.

This letter, a letter from Henry Faulds and a fingerprint form were found in Galton's fingerprint box, having been returned to him from the Anthropological Institute.
