Photograph of an anatomical drawing of the nervous system found in a Persian manuscript previously held by the India Office and given to the British Museum (manuscript number 2296) . A different reproduction of the drawing (M0000407) is included in Choulant, Ludwig: History and bibliography of anatomic illustration: in its relation to anatomic science and the graphic arts, Chicago: The University of Chicago press, 1920. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 28 August 1935 (PHO 4063).
