Correspondence regarding a lecture delivered at University of Wisconsin, Madison, 7 December, 1965, entitled "The Structure of the Genetic Code."

The lecture was organized by Dr H Gobind Khorana, from the Institute for Enzyme Research, to whom Crick wrote (22 November, 1965): "Thank you for your very interesting letter of 17th November. It is so full of fascinating news that I can hardly wait to come to Madison to hear more about it all. We seem to be getting closer to the altered sRNA in amber suppression, but I doubt if we will have anything very definite before I leave here ... I was especially fascinated by your remarks about GAA and about binding and wobble, and I am sure we shall find plenty of time to discuss all these topics fairly thoroughly."
