Photograph of an illustration from Medicina Antiqua, a 13th century manuscript held by the Austrian National Library (Codex Vindobonensis 93), depicting a woman suffering from a rash being handed a medicinal draught by her attendant with text in Latin above and marginalia underneath. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 9th October 1935 (PHO 5156).
