Photograph of a woodcut illustration from Bartisch, George: Ophthalmodouleia, 1583. The illustraton depicts a man with cataract symptoms with surgical tools suggesting treatment. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 17th October 1935 (PHO 5451).
