Description

Letter from H Grüneberg to J B S Haldane dated 25 Jul 1951 with particulars of A G Searle, and enclosing a note from P H Southern, Haldane's secretary, with particulars of Gillian M Truslove. Internal memo from Southern to Haldane dated 25 Jul 1951 stating Grüneberg's wish to see Searle and Truslove's names appear in the prospectus staff lists; includes a handwritten response below and on the reverse from Haldane. Memo from Southern to Haldane containing two messages dated 26 Jul 1951 and 27 Jul 1951 stating that Truslove has her doctorate, Searle is a doctoral candidate and eligible for a research assistant's job. Letter from Southern to the UCL Provost dated 28 Jul 1951 recommending the appointments of Truslove and Searle, both as Research Assistants.
