Photograph published in the the Daily Mirror, 12 October 1915 of Edith Cavell (1865-1915) British nurse, sitting with two dogs. There is a quote beneath the photograph: "I have seen death so often that it is not strange or painful to me. I am glad to die for my Country." Brussels, October 12th 1915.
