Description

Five images on one negative, all of Sir Charles Scott Sherrington (1857-1952) English neurophysiologist sitting with Harvey William Cushing (1869-1939) American neurosurgeon and pathologist. The images are from a Leica film taken by Professor Beattie at the Royal College of Surgeons in July 1938 during an International Congress. The film was lent to Sir Henry Dale, Chairman of the Wellcome Trustees.
