Description

Reproduction of a cast of a Magdalenian stone lamp with the incised representation of an Ibex head (before repair and restoration). The cast was made by B. Champion between 1929-1930 for the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum.The original lamp was found at La Grotte de la Mouthe, Tayac (Dordogne) and is held by the National Archaeological Museum, Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
