Advice on pregnancy given by Christine, wife of Ferdinando I, Grand Duke of Tuscany, to Livia della Rovere, Duchess of Urbino, when pregnant with Federico Ubaldo Della Rovere. The cover page contains an inscription erroneously addressing the letter to Christine's daughter, Claudia; she would later marry Federico becoming the next Duchess of Urbino.
