Descrizione d'una machina per tagliare i spini, e le altre piante aquatiche che chiudono i canali, ed i fiumi navigabili. Illustrated by a full page pen and wash drawing of the machine. Written by the same hand as No. 1727 (1) [Maniera] and part of No. 1727 (5) [O'Reilly] with which it was originally bound as part of a larger volume.

Biographical note
The author was a distinguished Spanish engineer and in 1806 Inspector of Roads and Bridges. Refusing to serve under the French, he went to Russia and built many roads and bridges, attaining the rank of general.
