The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "A group of men dressed in ragged working clothes gather round a matronly figure in drag as a cook with apron and mob cap. One of the men (third from left) is dressed as the popular music-hall performer George Robey (1869-1954), with his trademark thick bushy eyebrows."
