Photograph of the entrance to the Temple of Amenerdais, at Medenet Habu, Thebes. The text above the doorway states that the chapel was for the benefit of childless women and expectant mothers, as well as for the cure of disease. The photograph was taken by Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee Captain Johnston-Saint.
