Description

Includes correspondence regarding collaboration on a paper 'On the X-chromosome of man,' career possibilities, research in progress (1963), personal news, plans for a visit to USA in February-March 1964, and Dr McKusick's work on Reifenstein's Syndrome.

Victor Almon McKusick was University Professor of Medical Genetics and Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is widely regarded as the father of clinical medical genetics and Ferguson-Smith had studied in his department 1957-1961.
