A further USAID grant was awarded in 1977 for the next phase of the ICM/USAID Project under the title "Expanded Midwife Involvement in Reproductive Health" to support Project goal of improving institutional capability for management and support of Family Planning. Specific emphasis was now to be on Training of Trainers of Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs).
