Description

A modification of Giovanni Battista Amici's reflecting microscope for use with an achromatic objective. The microscope was purchased at auction by the the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1925 and accessioned in 1927 (accession number R17966 and R261/1949). It is now held by the the Science Museum (object number A56542)
