Description
Black and white promotional still of Claudette Colbert, an American actress, in the leading role of the film Cleopatra, 1934. Although Claudette Colbert publically denied rumours that she was lesbian or bisexual, she did have a close relationship with the lesbian artist Verna Hull in the 1950s, and socialised with other rumoured lesbian and bisexual women including Katharine Hepburn, Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich and Helen O'Hagan.
