Photograph of a large alabastron (oil or perfume container), possibly Corinthian, from 6th century BC. The photograph of the alabastron is included in the publication Catalogue of an Exhibition illustrating The History of Pharmacy, an exhibition held at the Wellcome Research Institution, London, 4 May - 28 September 1951. It was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is no longer held by Wellcome Collection.
