Biographical note
David Middleton qualified FRCS Ed. 1930; FDS RS Ed. 1951; FFD RCSI 1964. His career was chiefly as an anaesthetist and consulting or honorary dental or oral surgeon to a number of hospitals in Edinburgh, including the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Edinburgh Dental Hospital and the Princess Margaret Rose Orthopaedic Hospital. He was a member of the General Dental Council and member of a number of societies including the Oral Surgical Club.
