Description

Herbert Campbell, dressed as a woman in masculine clothing, addressing Dan Leno in the costume of one of the Guards' regiments. Herbert Campbell and Dan Leno were an extremely popular duo, appearing in several pantomimes at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, from the 1880s right up to the early years of the twentieth century. They both died in 1904.
