Photograph of two images showing bacteria. Figure 1 (top) is Bacillus Tuberculosis, using Ehrlich's Method. It had cover-glass preparation of pus from a tubercular cavity of the human lung. Figure 2 (bottom) is Bacillus Leprae (Leprosy) showing a section of a kidney with a case of leprosy. This image was reproduced from Crookshank, Edgar M; An introduction to practical bacteriology : based upon the methods of Koch, London : H.K. Lewis, 1886.
