This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Film still from the 1930 film 'All quiet on the Western front', published as a postcard to advertise the release of the film in Europe, with its original German title 'Im Westen nichts Neues', from the novel by Erich Maria Remarque. The still shows the young conscript Paul Baumer, and his mentor, the old 'war dog' Kat".
