Description
Photograph of a house in Viterbe, Italy, from which the hand and horseshoe sign against Evil Eye, once an object in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, was obtained. The photograph was received by the Museum from Captain Johnston-Saint on 28 June 1929. Captain Johnston-Saint was a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee who travelled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and India purchasing items for the museum. Related images: M0000066
