The reproduction is from Malaria and Quinine, Amsterdam, 1927. There is a similar print described as The Virgin of Fevers in the sacristy of St. Peter's in the Vatican in Rome by P.L. Bombelli, 1792, held by Wellcome Collection. Related images: V0035538
