Minute book 3, described as 'Cooper & Nephews South Africa (Pty) Ltd, AE&CI Agreement: Minutes of Working Committee Meetings'. The 'I' in 'AE&CI' is mistakenly given as a figure '1' on the spine.

Meetings usually took place at Coopers' offices.

The working committee met monthly for the most part, with occasional breaks.

The committee comprised two representatives from AE&CI, and three from Coopers, although fewer people sometimes attended.

Secretarial support for the committee was provided by Coopers.

Most of the meetings discuss a monthly sales report, showing the state of the markets in which the two companies were involved.

The meeting of 29 Jun 1950 (p. 45) was attended by W E O Walker-Leigh, Managing Director of Cooper McDougall & Robertson Ltd [Berkhamsted].

A memo tabled to the committee about the activities of major competitor Klipfontein Organic Products (KOP) appears on pp. 87-92.
