About this work
Description
The sixth in a series of 10 reel to reel tape recordings of Joan Malleson's pioneering work in sex therapy and councilling from c. early 1950's. Malleson worked in ALRA and then FPA / North Kensington Clinic. Although none of the participants on the recordings are named, some details have been hand-written onto the reel to reel tape boxes. For this particular tape, the hand-written note reads: "A young husband and wife discuss difficulties. Husband giving inadequate courtship. Common enough situation". See PP/MAL/6a for a digitised copy of this recording.
