    tmgm In confequence of Two Publications addref'cd to the Royal College of Phyficians about the end of January 1805, relative to the conduEl of the Prefident and a Committee of the College appointed to revife its Laws, the following Motions, recommended by the Council, and expreffive of the Opinion of the College on that SubjeEl, were Ipajfed at the Quarterly Meeting on the yth of February, every Mem- ber on the Roll, excepting Dr. Gregory, being prefent. They are extracted from the Minutes of that Meeting, which were read andfanEtioned,, in the ufual way, at the fubfequent Quarterly Meet- ing on the yth current. The College taking into confideration the concern which the Prefident s( has had in the late Revifal of the Laws, and the great trouble and “ attention he has beftowed on it, are of opinion, however different the “ fentiments of the different Members may be on that fubjed, that he has “ aded from the pureft motives, and in the inoft honourable manner, “ and that he well deferves the thanks of the College, which they requefl il the Vice-Prefident to give him ; and they appoint this Refolution to be “ engroffed in the Minutes. “ The Clerk having then called the roll, the whole Members approved “ of the Motion of the Council, with the exception of one Member, who “ objeded merely to the form of the Motion, but who agreed with all the “ other Members, that the Prefident had aded in an honourable manner. “ Thereafter a Motion refpeding the Committee for revifing the “ Laws, the fame with the preceding, mutatis mutandis, was read, put to “ the vote, and carried in the fame manner. “ Which Refolutions of the College were accordingly intimated to the “ Prefident and the Committee by the Vice-Prefident.” (Signed) Alexr.
