Photograph of a drawing by the school of Romanus De Hooghe, used as the frontispiece for Horti Medici Rariorum Plantarum Historia by Joan Commelin. This reproduction was made during the VI International Congress for the History of Medicine held in Leiden 1927 at the Exposition d'art Medico-Historique and is described as Dessin [Drawing] 46, Frontispice pour le livre de Joan Commelin: Horti medici rariorum plantarum Histori, in the exhibition catalogue. The original drawing is held by the Teylers Museum, Haarlem.
