Description

Nickle and vulcanite binaural stethoscope designed and patented by Camman in 1855. Inscribed "G.P. Camman M.D. to M. Barth M.D." The item was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R4036/1936). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
