Letters to Stanley Browne, covering his education, studies and qualifications, family, missionary career, church and christian actitivies, King's College London activities, London Inter-Faculty Christian Union KCL Branch activities (including fixtures cards and of the King's College Hospital Christian Union), Home Preparation Union (HPU), Drummond Road Sunday School camps, Church Army weekends, work at Guy's Hospital, death of his mother Edith in 1927, his preparations for missionary work in the Congo, 1936. Letters from family members, friends, colleagues and teachers/tutors and ministers, also includes some copies of his own out-letters.
