Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "‘Eddie’ is almost certainly another member of ‘Splinters’, a troupe of ex-servicemen, who, having gained experience acting in drag with World War I concert parties, organized themselves into a commercial act and enjoyed great success performing at music hall well into the 1930s. This Eddie is wearing a wig showing the latest style in ‘shingled’ hair, circa 1925."
This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
