Photograph of instruments used for operating on superficial lipoma from Vaitupu, Tuvalu with explanatory caption and photograph as on display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. These items were accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (R6165/1936, R6168/1936, R6198/1936, R6170/1936, R6171/1936, R6172/1936) but are now held by the Science Museum (A655857). The photograph was included in the catalogue for a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum Exhibition illustrating the medicine of the aboriginal peoples in the British Commonwealth, London, 1952.
